OTHER PROJECTS

I have not actually stopped writing in the years since the last Bethancourt & Gibbons book was published. I just have not succeeded in selling anything. Since my publishing career appears to have come to a standstill, I was thinking I might post some of what I've written here.

Not all of it will be to the taste of my B&G fans--a couple of things are fantasy, not mystery. There is one other traditional mystery, but with different characters. And I recently published a mystery short story in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine.

A Murder in Oyster Bay

A new mystery short story!

In the wealthy enclave of Oyster Bay, a jazz-soaked house party turns deadly. Young Marion and Clarence Kellar are the epitome of a fashionable Jazz Age couple, much to the chagrin of their more stately neighbors. But it's the younger generation who sees a problem with the convenient explanation and are determined to find the truth.
